Onboarding Flow¶

Onboarding will roughly go in the following order for a first time team and service:

• Register your team
• Register your application

• Onboarding call with SRE (~60 minutes)

  2. Introduction to Observability Platform
  3. Explain SLO & SLI and further reading
  4. Service enforcement
  5. Next steps

• Team: register service(s)

• Team: register Alloy CW Metrics
• Team: Tag CloudWatch resources
• Team: Observe and play around with CW Metrics
• Team with guidance from SRE: determine critical Service indicators
• Instrument service with custom metrics to measure these critical Service Indicators
• ???
